A small speaker (made from dynamic microphone element) inside balloon is placed in mouth; performer speaks into another microphone connected to a tape delay; the words plays back after a delay through the small amplifier and into the waterproof speaker. The performer re-articulates the speech sounds by silently mouthing a new set of words during playback; with each iteration the words gradually shift into their new meanings.
