Instrument for Word of Hand, performed in my undergraduate thesis concert at Wesleyan, 1976. A swept oscillator whose speed was controlled by tipping the mercury switches attached to my fingers in some kind of binary pattern. Lucier imitates this piece in the photo of him with me at graduation.
